• Welcome Party: Cocktail attire.

• Wedding Day: Formal attire. We invite you to dress for an elegant evening of celebration. Think long or tea-length dresses for women, and a suit and tie for men.

The welcome party, as well as the ceremony and cocktail hour on the wedding day, will take place outdoors. We recommend bringing a jacket or sweater for the cooler evening temperatures, along with shoes that you'll be comfortable wearing on grass.

Early October is one of the most beautiful times of year in Carmel, with daytime temperatures typically in the mid-60s to low 70s. Evenings can cool down into the 50s, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater to stay comfortable throughout our weekend events.

• Welcome Party: Transportation will not be provided. Please plan accordingly for travel to and from La Playa. Valet will be provided.

• Wedding Day: Yes! We kindly ask that all guests use the provided shuttles to our wedding venue, as driving is not permitted. Shuttles will service Carmel-By-The-Sea and Carmel Mission Inn. Based on the accommodations you provided with your RSVP, we will send you a detailed email closer to the wedding with your designated shuttle pickup location and schedule.

Parking will not be available at the wedding venue. We kindly ask that guests use our provided shuttle transportation to and from the wedding. Thank you!
